Manual Wheelchairs

We have broken wheelchairs down into four sub categories:

• Standard wheelchairs contains regular manual wheelchairs.
• Light weight wheelchairs are typical manual wheelchairs that are lighter than standard models. They are not to be confused with a Transport Wheelchairs which are an entirely different category.
• Bariatric or large patients will require a special wheelchair and can find what they need in the Heavy Duty section.
• Certain conditions require a reclining back, and we offer a selection of those as well.

Arm rests come in either full length or desk length. Full length offers the most support. Desk Length is preferable if the patient requires the ability to roll up to a table or desk and remain in the chair. Sme models offer adjustable height arms and/or detachable arms.

Swingaway footrests usually come standard. Elevating legrests are available as an extra option. Some reclining wheelchairs come standard with elevating leg rests.

There are many accessories available for a wheelchair. We carry bags, seat belts, a holder for an oxygen tank and more. If you need a special accessory that you cannot find on the website, give us a call and we can probably source it for you.
