People with disabilities of all kinds should be aware of all the state and federal benefits, and financial aid that are available to them, it may well the difference from struggling to get by to living comfortably. Below are some useful sites that should help see you find what you are entitled to.

Federal and Government Benefits

A very useful site that will help a disabled person, their dependants or carers determine exactly what benefits they are entitled to is http://www.govbenefits.gov. You can answer some questions online and find out what you are entitled right then and there. Financial aid

Disabled people who cannot work because of their disability are likely to be entitled to Supplementary Security Income (SSI). To see if you are eligible go here: http://www.socialsecurity.gov/ssi/text-eligibility-ussi.htm
